Every applicant must confirm the statements below before a submission record may be created.

Editorial review
Five recorded stages.
Creators should always be able to distinguish receipt, review, revision, and acceptance.

A confirmation number is assigned after secure intake.

Required materials, file integrity, and category fit are checked.

Editorial review
Editors evaluate voice, craft, originality, and publication potential.

Decision issued
The creator receives a recorded editorial status.

Revision or next step
Invited revisions, development terms, or closure are documented.
Decision statuses
Clear language.
No false promises.
Only “Accepted for development” advances a work into formal editorial planning—and even that is not publication without written terms.
Received
The record and materials reached the secure intake system.
Under review
The submission is actively being considered.
Revision invited
The editor has requested specific changes; this is not acceptance.
Held for consideration
The work remains under review beyond the initial cycle.
Accepted for development
The work may proceed to documented editorial development.
Declined
The current submission cycle is closed without publication.
Revision requests
An invitation to revise is not a demand to surrender the work.
- Requests identify the exact work and review record.
- Editorial notes are documented in writing.
- The creator decides whether to prepare a revision.
- A revision deadline must be stated.
- Revised files receive a new version marker.
- Acceptance is never guaranteed by revision.
Submission confirmation
Every accepted intake receives a record.
When secure submissions open, this confirmation will be the creator’s proof of receipt. A submission without a confirmation number should not be treated as received.
